ABC Family’s hit series THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER returns with 12 all-new episodes beginning tonight (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). The network will air a special SECRET LIFE marathon (nine episodes) leading up to the premiere, today from 11:00 AM ET/PT – 8:00 PM ET/PT.

In the season opener, “The Big One,” Anne is dealing with the surprising news of her own pregnancy, while Amy is slowly adjusting to motherhood and a new life filled with midnight feedings and diaper changes. Meanwhile, Grace and Jack renew their relationship, Ben struggles to find his place with Amy now that Ricky has actively taken on the role of father, and an unexpected tragedy for one of the teens changes everything.

“Ever since I was little and saw my first soap opera, a Spanish soap opera, I wanted to get into it. Then when I was in high school I got more motivation because I would say ‘hey I want to be an actress’, and people would be like ‘yeah ok, like that’s really going to happen’, and I was like ‘Hey! Yes it is! And now I’m really gonna do it, because you said I wouldn’t.’”

Francia taled to E! Online about the upcoming second season of the hit series, The Secret Life of The American Teenager! We’ll have a new guest star in the form of Rumer Willis who is making a name for herself with various guest star appearances.

In the season-two premiere of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, somebody major dies, somebody gets pregnant and somebody loses their virginity. But what we’re more excited about is that at some point this season, which kicks off June 22 on ABC Family, Rumer Willis will be guest starring.

Yes, the offspring of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis is making an appearance this season. Rumer, who did a bang-up job on Medium as a prostitute recently, will play a pregnant teen. “It’s very dramatic how she comes onto the show,” says Francia Raisa (Adrian Lee). “There’s always a chance she can come back and do another episode. But I can’t say more.”

Adrian’s Sexual Past: “You learn more of Adrian’s backstory about why she’s so into the sex and why it’s not so dramatic for her like most people,” says Francia. “And I know there is more sex involved and a lot more regrets when it comes to sex. Some people lose their virginity in the new season.”

Latina Magazine has posted an online interview with the fabulosa Francia Raisa star of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of The American Teenager! She gets very candid on a lot of subjects that include the hit show and upcoming season, her character Adrian Lee, TV she likes, and her personal life. Admin Note: Out of respect for Francia I have refrained posting anything about what goes on in her real life here. It’s none of our business and she needs and deserves her privacy.

With the highly anticipated return of ABC Family’s hit show, The Secret Life of the American Teenager coming up on June 22, I wanted (no, scratch that, I needed) to get all the juicy inside scoop on the show’s second season, and I especially needed to know what’s coming up for my favorite TV teenager, Adrian Lee! So I called up Francia Raisa (the half-Honduran, half-Mexican actress who plays Adrian) to get all the details, and the sweet and beautiful (may I also add incredibly talented?) actress spoke exclusively to me about all the drama awaiting Adrian in season 2. She also dished other Secret Life season 2 spoilers. She then talked exclusively to Vivo Por TiVo about the disquieting romance rumors linking her to 90210 star Matt Lanter, her recent Hollywood breakup, and why she disagrees with people who say she looks like Kim Kardashian. Read on to get the inside scoop you wont find anyplace else!

I’m so excited for season 2 of your show! How do you think it will measure up to Secret Life’s very successful first season?

I think it’s going to do just as well, or maybe even better! The story changes a little bit, and we go more into everybody else’s background, like Adrian’s life and Grace’s life. And the first episode is really dramatic—I think it’s going to have a huge impact on a lot of people.

Will the show become more of an ensemble drama this year?

Yeah. It always has been an ensemble show and cast, but they started by focusing on the baby and that whole thing in the beginning to get attention. In season 2, they’re focusing on everyone.

Even though Amy’s already had her baby, can we expect to see a lot of drama this season?

Oh yeah, definitely! (Laughs). I keep hearing about more drama everyday when I go to set!

Is Adrian going to be hooking up with a lot of guys like she did last season?

So far she hasn’t as much, because her and Ricky are still going back and forth with each other. But we’re still filming episode 11, and Brenda Hampton (the show’s creator) told me a little bit about what might come up for Adrian, so we’ll see.

Can you give me some exciting scoop about Adrian and what might happen to her this time around?

She is moving! Her parents get back together and they’re moving into a house. And it’s going to be very interesting when you guys see who my neighbors are! It’s going to be fun for Adrian, but not so fun for someone else.

Wait, are you saying Adrian is going to be living under the same roof as her padre? Last season they really didn’t get along. Are they going to fight a lot this season too?

Not so much. Adrian and her dad start building a father-daughter relationship. He does get upset with her for how she acts sometimes or for having too much sex, and he gives her some ground rules. But other than that, they have a pretty good relationship. And it’s the same with Adrian’s mom—her family is starting to come together, and it changes her. You will see that she’s happier, but she’s still got the drama going on with Ricky, and now that the baby is here, you can just imagine…

I hear a major character is going to die in season 2. I’m a big fan of yours, so please tell me Adrian is not going to die!

She’s safe. Adrian is back!

Gracias a television Dios! Anyway, I really liked the moments in the first season that portrayed conflict between Adrian and Amy because it seems like those two characters are such polar opposites. Are they going to be bumping heads this season?

Oh yeah, for sure! Amy and Adrian have a lot more together this next season. Adrian is in love with a guy who has just had a baby with another girl (Amy), and she gets jealous because she knows what a player Ricky is. She can’t really help but dislike Amy because she doesn’t know what’s going on. It’s very realistic, because think about it, Adrian just split up her dad and his wife because she wanted her parents back together, so whose to say that Ricky and Amy’s baby, when he’s old enough to understand, isn’t going to do the same. He’s going to be like “Daddy, why aren’t you with mommy?” That’s one of Adrian’s biggest fears.

In TV chat rooms and all over the web, rumors are flying that you are dating 90210 star, Matt Lanter. Have you heard that rumor?

OMG, yes I have! We have never dated. It blows my mind. We did Cutting Edge three years ago, so for that to still be going around…and I’ve been hearing it a lot more lately! We just got really close when we were filming in Montreal. We still keep in touch, and we’re really good friends!

And you’re both on popular teen shows! Have you been watching 90210 now that Matt’s one of the show’s stars?

I tell him that I have (laughs), but I’ve really only seen one or two episodes! It’s so bad, because I work at 6 a.m. and I don’t have time to watch TV. I TiVo all my shows. One of my favorite shows is Desperate Housewives, and I still haven’t seen the season finale!

It’s interesting that you’re a fan of DH, because I actually think you would’ve been a great choice to play Gaby’s (Eva Longoria Parker’s) sexy and funny niece (a role that went to Brazilian actress Maiara Walsh). Were you interested in that role at all?

Do you know how upset I was! I am so happy I’m on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and I am very fortunate, but ever since I got into TV, I’ve been like, ‘I have to do something with Eva Longoria on Desperate Housewives,’ and when this role came up, I was so mad! I haven’t seen her (Maiara Walsh) on the show. All I saw her do was wave “hello.”

Aside from the Matt Lanter rumor, you’ve also been linked to choreographer Shane Sparks. Tell me, is he your boo?

Actually, Shane and I are not together anymore. We broke up. We were dating for 3 years, and it was hush-hush for a little bit. I think I can say now that we’re not together.

Now that you’re single, is there anyone in Hollywood you have a major crush on?
Yes! But I don’t know if I should say it. I’ll seem psycho when I actually get to see them again.

Fair enough. A lot of people have also been comparing you to Kim Kardashian and saying that you look like her, or that she looks like you. What’s your take on all this?

Kim is gorgeous, so I take it as a compliment. But I don’t see the resemblance at all. Every interview I do and every time I go out, I get confused with Kim. I went to City Walk the other day and I took a picture with a guy. I didn’t realize it until after the fact that the guy was calling me “Kim.” He probably has the picture now, and he’s probably like “this ain’t Kim!” (Laughs).

Another wonderful interview, I really don’t get the Kim/Francia comparison either because I read that a lot. I’m just not seeing it. Also, I was super excited when I read that Francia/Adrian would be back on ‘Secret Life’ since Shailene let loose a spoiler about *SPOILER ALERT* someone dying *SPOILER ALERT*. I was worried but after articles surfaced that she was here to stay!

Now if only Latina would feature this mujer bonita on the cover everything would be perfect!
